Mackenzie Myatt, a Nova Scotia born student based in Atlanta, Georgia at the Savannah College of Art and Design, is an internationally competitive mountain bike racer and potential future Olympian.
Just recently, she won Gold in the US at their National Collegiate Championships. This summer, she also won a Silver Medal at the overall Canadian Championships in the U23 category, and a Silver Medal at the Canada Games. She was invited to two World Cups in Europe this year by Team Canada to help her develop her international experience.
In her first year of collegiate racing, Myatt also won several medals. This year, her goals are to participate in a World Cup at Mont-Ste-Anne in Quebec, to win the U23 Canadian National Championship and to earn a spot on the Canadian World Championship team.
